Just Me

OK, so I thought I would join the gang and write a few things about me:

I hate writting... so you see very few things from me that require writting, like letters, e-mails, journals ect.

I can't spell!!! ...so you see very few things from me that require writting, like letters, e-mails, journals ect.

I love the seasons of the year, and can find beauty in them all (thanks to snowshoeing)

I love snowshoeing ( thanks to my kids)

I love Von! He is the best, and puts up with a lot of crape (from me)

I love a beautiful yard

I don't know how to make a beautiful yard

I love to do crafty projects and will sometimes give them away.

I love to go camping

I don't like to travel

My dream trip is to be someplace with family and no traffic!

My favorite place to visit is So. Utah and the red rock canyons. I feel a sense of piece there more than anywhere else.

I don't want to move

I don't need to have lots of friends.

I am gratful for the Snoasis

I am very tired of the Snoasis

I love my children!!!!!

I am blessed to love dearly my sons and daughters-law. I can enjoy one on one time with each one of them.

My children all married up :) And that is hard to do!

My grandchildren are the cutest, and the smartest, and the best of any on this earth.

I like to go for a hike in the mountains

I don't enjoy shopping

I wear old clothes, and love hand-me-downs.

I love to go to thrift stores and garage sells (especially in Eugene)

I don't wear much jewlery

my hair is gray and I like it

I always want to loose 5-10lbs

I love candy and chocolate (dark)

I accept church callings even when I don't want to

I avoid going to the dentist

I chew lots of gum

I love old books...and collect them

I love to read, but don't as much as I used to????

I like historical novels and non-fiction as well

I love to watch movies and documetries from the library

I don't clean my house like I should

I like to do puzzles...but do them on the internet now

I check my e-mail everyday I am home

My favorite foods are breads and veggies

I am afraid of dogs

I try to walk every day (if I write that then maybe it will happen)

I will never be able to keep up with Von...he says he will slow down for me.

My fantasy world is to have all my children live around me.

My real world is that I travel and see the sights of the world to visit them.

I am terrified to drive on the freeway with Von. (Jacob is a bit scary too)

I do not like to drive

I don't like to go out to eat. (I know that is weird)

I don't remember people's names....really bad at that

I am a small town girl by nature. But have always lived in a big city.

I love scary movies...not horror ones

I love happy endings

I love limes in my water

I don't mind eating on paper plates

I could never use any body else's toothbrush!!!!!

I wish I had home schooled my kids at least a few years

I believe that wisdom is more important than knowledge...but not many people care.

I believe that the most important thing you can teach your children is that they matter... to God, to you, to themselves. Everything else will just work out.

I could go on for a long time....but won't

great list mom. I am loving reading about what people think of themselves. you are crafty and iam glad that you share (mia's shoes fit and are super adorable..I'll post a picture soon). Home-schooling huh? I am so like you, mom and i am happy about it! I bought a new dress the other day (because everything somewhat nice i owned was stained or otherwise trashed) and it almost literally was painful. I just don't enjoy shopping anymore...unless it is for t shirts and comfy pants. I also noticed that you mentioned family and proximity a couple times...maybe your definition of proximity just needs to be readjusted.
Love you a lot mom. everything about you!

I love these lists. There a such a funny way to learn about people you know (thought you knew). I think sometimes we think we know people so well that some of the little things escape us, not to mention that we are always changing in our lives. Thanks for sharing Ma!

I so need to do one of these lists--so fun for posterity.

Internet up yesterday. yeah!! (any bets on how long it will last this time? ha, ha, sob, sob) we should be good for the long haul now, so stay tuned for more Moss stuff!

Ok mom, most of these i knew or at least made sense in my vision of you, we actually are very similar in a lot of respects. i know where my love of reading and desire to collect old books came from.. (as far as i know dad doesn't even read very much.) i think i have hit the jackpot when i come home from the DI with a couple of old hardback classics to add to my library! i never shop. i Hate HATE it! i have so many books to read that i actually am a little overwhelmed by it, but excited to start.
