winter is here

Winter has come to the mountains----and to our home. Yes it is finally here, and it is really beautiful! If it would just stay off the roads I would be happier. Aunt Catherine was here this last week and it was so wonderful having her here to talk to and just be with. She loved to see the snow and we went for a walk in it. Then she left to go back to California and we had to stay here in the cold snow :(

It was really a Winter Wonderland and Ma and Pa Callister (and Deb) were sooooo much fun to visit! The house is decorated to the max and the hospitality overflowed! Thank you all!

i am shocked that Logan has no snow. we have about 6 inches in Kaysville it is fun to watch my cats who have never seen snow try and figure out what to do, and how to get around! i am glad that i got a chance to see aunt catherine, wish i could have spent more time at the house! she is a very fun lady!

fluffy snow is kinda pretty. no slow here- lots of icy rain... one morning there was a thin layer of frost on the grass and tayson got excited and said, " mom! look snow! It's christmas! let's go sledding" i felt bad telling him that by the time he got his coat on the "snow " would be melted.

Keep the snow on the ground Mom and Dad...I dont care what you have to do! Make sure there is some snow for us next week.
The cascades are getting some good snow...but in due Eugene fashion we are getting just wet....oh well. I am looking forward to doing some snowshoeing!!

I was talking with mom on the phone telling that i hoped there was snow at the cabin by the time we went. she seemed pretty confused (I had NO idea that there was any snow anywhere in the state.) Poor poor logan. maybe Gods waiting until i'm done with finals :). Dan
